Ross Marriott – Managing Director  

 With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, Ross has developed and moulded Artworks into one of Christchurch’s leading landscape design & construction companies.

 His passion and drive, through an early apprenticeship, initial inspiration from his father, his interest in horticulture and a keen eye for design, has allowed Ross to build and inspire a dedicated, clever team. His hard work and desire to lead by example has allowed Artworks to advance, while maintaining a high level of integrity and excellence in all areas of their landscaping projects.

Ross is very hands on with his Project Managers and prides himself on team development, cultivating new skills and ideas and maintaining the company ethos. High standards, high performance and great results are what he expects from his staff to ensure happy clients.

Ross has an avid interest in reading, is a keen multi-sports athlete and kayaker, he enjoys big screen movies, social networking, collecting NZ art and developing and working in his own garden with his wife Jayne. Jayne Marriott – Marketing Manager

Jayne manages all Social Media, networking events and Advertising and promotion for Artworks Landscape Ltd. Her 14 years in Radio Sales/Marketing and 1 year in Industrial recruitment give her broad spectrum as to how people operate.

“Ross and I are quite a progressive couple, and like to challenge each other” she says “my background in hospitality, administration, H.R. and especially sales, means I can adapt to any environment and make the best from it. We like to share our ideas and sense of humour.”

Her focus is to enhance the Artworks profile and to align the company image with professionalism, integrity and creative diversity. She enjoys movies, reading, walking, rugby, fashion and relaxing with Ross in their Garden.

The Marketing area is really an interface between our Team and our Clients. Anyone is welcome to come out to see Artworks “Gold” winning Show Garden, or spend a few moments with me in the Marketing department. 

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alison Langdon – Business Support Manager

Alison is the newest member of our Team and excels in keeping our Office running well.

Her role, right through from greeting you on the phone, to servicing all our administration and accounts is paramount in ensuring that we run a smooth operation.

In the weekends, Alison enjoys spending time in her extensive vegetable garden, playing a spot of tennis, and time with her husband and pets.  She is an avid crafts person and loves her job.

Peter Grins – Project Manager

Peter is an experienced horticulturist and landscaper with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. Since completing his horticulture degree at Lincoln University in the late 80s, Peter has worked in many sectors of the industry including parks and reserve management, construction and project management.

Working on landscapes both locally and abroad in the UK and Australia, Peter has a diverse range of skills and abilities and experience with both small and large landscape projects.

Prior to joining Artwork’s Landscape, Peter managed the design and build of a vineyard for five years on a large development in Queenstown. Peter has three children and spends his free time with his family, snowboarding, mountain biking and maintaining his own garden.

Greg Garvery– Project Manger

Greg has a passion and dedication for his Project Management role. He enjoys all facets of his job, and he also has an avid interest in the construction aspect of the landscaping Industry.

 Gregs experience, combined with his passion for the job, is a perfect blend.  He enjoys working with our clients and understands how to manage and execute the challenges that arise.

He has a comprehensive understanding of the Industry and really enjoys the “creative” aspect of helping clients achieve their dreams.

Daniel Joyce – Project Manager

A fully-qualified horticulturist, Daniel has been with Artworks for more than seven years. Having worked in every part of the business, from construction to management, Daniel understands each process that is required to create a successful landscape

 A specialist in paving, Daniel considers paving a piece of art and a strong attention to detail of vital importance.

With a young family, Daniel spends his free time in the outdoors, playing golf and working on his own industrial style landscape.
